Matt Skynner is the Chief Operating Officer at ventureLAB, a leading global founder community for hardware technology and enterprise software companies located in Markham, York Region. ventureLAB has enabled thousands of companies to create over 4,000 jobs and raise more than $200 million in investment capital. Matt has over 30 years of experience in the tech sector, including leading a global $1 billion technology business as Corporate Vice President and General Manager at AMD Canada, and President and Chief Operating Officer at Braingrid Corporation, where he helped scale the company by assisting in raising more than $4M, growing the team from 5 to 20 people, and going public at the end of 2018. Matt is a Professional Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and an MBA.
