ventureLAB announces the retirement of Chief Growth Officer Jane Gertner, effective today.
Jane’s history with ventureLAB began as an advisor, leading to her appointment as VP of Partnerships & External Relations in 2017. In her most recent role as Chief Growth Officer, she was responsible for directing the organization's business development, partnerships, marketing, events, and communications strategies. Jane joined ventureLAB following an executive career that included leadership roles at Unilever and serving as CEO of an operating division at George Weston Limited.
Throughout her tenure at ventureLAB, Jane focused on building a private sector pipeline and establishing key industry relationships. Notably, she supported the development and launch of the Hardware Catalyst Initiative (HCI).
