SECTR emphasizes equity, diversity and inclusion in training as a means to encourage gender balance and the promotion of equity deserving groups in the technology sector. This entity is run as an independent not-for-profit where governance includes an advisory board with representation from government, industry, academia, relevant NFPs.
Users will include start-ups and small-medium enterprises and multi-nationals anchoring R&D capabilities. Impacts include talent development for highly skilled jobs that support the national economy.
