Jean-Francois

Author of three books on life sciences market research, strategy, and fundraising (CRC Press/Productivity Press, Taylor & Francis), currently writing my fourth.

I specialize in market research and commercialization strategy for life sciences companies. In over 20+ years, I've completed 450+ projects for Fortune 500 companies (Johnson & Johnson, Novo Nordisk, AbbVie, Procter & Gamble, Microsoft, Adobe, Infosys, Caterpillar), government agencies (Government of Canada, Government of Quebec), leading universities, and over 100 innovative startups across 32 countries.

For the past decade, I've focused exclusively on healthcare, biotechnology, and medical devices, bringing strategic insights from enterprise, public sector, and academic work to specialized life sciences commercialization challenges.

What I do:

- Market research and validation for life sciences companies and technology transfer offices

- Marketing strategy and competitive intelligence

- Voice-of-Customer and product-market-fit for pharma, biotech, and medical devices

I serve as Expert-in-Residence at the CQIB (Quebec Biotechnology Incubator), have mentored 75+ startups through programs including Next AI and HEC Montréal, and sit on the editorial boards of the Journal of Brand Strategy and Applied Marketing Analytics.
