Paul will be succeeding Karna Gupta, who had served on the ventureLAB Board since 2011. Karna will continue to serve on ventureLAB’s Board until the end of March 2023. In recognition of Karna’s long-standing service to ventureLAB, a Chair of the Board Award was introduced at ventureLAB AGM in June 2019, with the inaugural award going to Nulogy’s co-founder, Jason Tham. Additionally, Andy Taylor will be succeeding Paul in the role of Treasurer. Andy is the Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Markham, where he leads the Corporation with his Executive Leadership Team consisting of the Commissioners of Community & Fire Services, Corporate Services, Development Services, and the City Solicitor. Andy holds a wealth of experience in both the public and private sector. Prior to joining the City in 1992, he worked 10 years in the private sector in senior positions. In 2017, Andy was elected as a Fellow by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.
