Andy Taylor (Board Treasurer)
Chief Administrative Officer, City of Markham
Andy Taylor is the Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Markham reporting to the Mayor and Council. He leads the Corporation with his Executive Leadership Team consisting of the Commissioners of Community & Fire Services, Corporate Services, Development Services, and the City Solicitor.
Andy is an ambassador for Excellence Canada and sits on the Board of Governors of Excellence Canada. Andy holds a wealth of experience in both the public and private sector. Prior to joining the City in 1992, he worked 10 years in the private sector in senior positions. In 2017, Andy was elected as a Fellow by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. He champions several local initiatives and sits on the Board of Directors for Markham Board of Trade, New Unionville Home Society and the United Way of Greater Toronto. Andy is also the President of Markham Enterprises Corporation, a shareholder of Alectra Utilities.
