ventureLAB is a not-for-profit organization supporting Canadian technology founders and innovators. We welcome volunteers who want to give back to the innovation community, meet people across the ecosystem, and build new skills along the way.
How you can get involved
Volunteers may choose to take part in activities such as:
•Welcoming guests, supporting registration and helping with setup at ventureLAB events
•Assisting with mentorship programs, such as helping coordinate sessions between founders and mentors.
•Supporting community programs, workshops and networking activities
•Helping with outreach to the broader innovation community
What to expect
Volunteering is flexible. There are no minimum hours, and you choose the opportunities that suit you. Some activities can be done remotely, while events take place in person. Volunteer roles are unpaid. ventureLAB reimburses pre-approved, out-of-pocket expenses related to volunteer activities. Volunteering does not create any promise or expectation of employment with ventureLAB.
