Mustafa is a seasoned High Technology professional with over 30 years of experience ranging from start-ups and SME's to multinational enterprises including: Viewstar, Belltronics, Gennum, Seneca College, Mosaid, ATI, Tundra, Silicon360, NIH enterprises and NRC-IRAP. In these organizations he has been directly responsible for Quality assurance, Business development, Reliability engineering, Project management, Quality management standards development and Operations encompassing Strategic planning, Teaching, R&D, and Finance. Mustafa has a B.Sc. in Electrical / Electronic Engineering from Huddersfield, UK and also has the following accreditations:  Quality Management professional ( ASQC CQE,CQM, six sigma Black Belt), and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA/CMA).

He is the voluntary Canadian chair for the development of the ISOTC176 quality management ISO9001 standards under the stewardship of CSA and standards council of Canada. In this role, he has recruited talented Canadian experts that have contributed to developing highly effective standards in auditing, customer satisfaction, calibration, statistical techniques, Economics-of-Quality Management, Documentation, People aspects of Quality Management and customer satisfaction
