Niraj Mathur

For over 20 years Niraj has been a noteworthy leader in the silicon and hardware arena with broad industry experience in strategy, marketing, business development, applications and advanced engineering. He has held senior leadership roles and led global, cross-functional teams to support these disciplines.

Niraj was instrumental in driving numerous successful products at startups as well as large multinational companies such as Nortel Networks, Quake Technologies, AppliedMicro, Snowbush, Gennum, Semtech and Rambus. He has defined, developed and supported carrier-grade hardware and software for the world’s leading enterprise, consumer and telecom customers. His projects include various data-center networking chips, AI accelerators, high-speed silicon IPs, intelligent software apps and custom development services.

Niraj is passionate about building scalable Canadian startups with extraordinary technology and vision. He currently advises a number of early-stage tech companies on all aspects of their business including fund-raising, execution and customer acquisition. Niraj holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from McGill University and an MBA from Cornell University.
