Susan McLean
Susan McLean is a Senior Consultant, Operations at ventureLAB, where she is supporting the organization’s path to sustainable growth by aligning operational strategies with its mission-driven objectives. Susan is responsible for reviewing and optimizing operations to enhance agility, scalability, and impact across the organization.
With over two decades of leadership experience spanning innovation, government, finance, and cleantech, Susan brings a unique cross-functional perspective and deep expertise in designing and leading high-impact programs, managing cross-functional teams, aligning operations with strategic goals, and transforming complex data into compelling insights that drive decision-making.
Most recently, Susan served as Vice President, Program Operations at MaRS Discovery District. She has also held senior roles at the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation, a national cleantech fund, and TMX Group, where she led cleantech business development. Throughout her career, Susan has secured over $150 million in funding, built cross-sector partnerships, and championed innovation across public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
